Amanda J. Stevens

Amanda recently graduated from the Dual Canadian and American JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. Prior to attending law school Amanda received her BA (Hons) in Political Science from McMaster University and her Masters of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in international relations and public opinion from Wilfrid Laurier University. Amanda then worked as an analyst for a global market research firm focusing in the areas of retail and consumer package goods.

During her time at Windsor Law, Amanda competed at the International Oxford Intellectual Property Moot in England receiving the award of 3rd place factum and the Davies Corporate Securities Moot. This fall she was awarded the book award in the U.S. Securities Regulation course. She spent her first summer after law school as a Judicial Law Clerk at the 35th District Court for the Honourable James A. Plakas. Amanda has been involved in her law school community as a Junior Member of Moot Court Board, Vice-President of the Women and the Law Club and as a Litigator with the Community Legal Aid.

In her spare time Amanda enjoys running, yoga, cooking and traveling.
