Catherine Hart

Catherine is a student at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, she received her undergraduate degree from Queen’s University where she completed a major in Political Studies and a minor in French Studies.

Catherine recently completed her second year of law school. During her second year, Catherine acted as a program coordinator of the University of Toronto’s Pro Bono Students Canada chapter. In this role, she coordinated the pro bono activities of over 140 students. She also acted as Vice-President of Events for the University of Toronto’s Women and the Law Society, where she organized opportunities for women lawyers and law students to connect.

In the summer after first year, Catherine worked as a caseworker at Advocates for Injured Workers, a clinic that provides legal services to workers injured at their workplace. One of the highlights of her summer included appearing before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal. She continues to volunteer at the clinic. 

Catherine is a member of the U of T co-ed and women’s intramural basketball teams, and is also a member of U of T’s innertube water polo team. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys running, practising yoga, and travelling.
