Taleen recently completed her second year of the JD program at Western Law. Prior to entering law school, she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Queen’s University.
While at Western Law, Taleen has successfully competed in a number of advocacy competitions. She received an honourable mention for the First Year Appellate Competition and placed fifth in Lerners Cup. Most recently she represented Western Law in the Gale Cup at the Ontario Court of Appeal, where the team’s appellant factum received the second place prize.
Over the last two years she worked as an editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies. In addition, she re-instated and ran the Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights Association.
Outside of her studies, Taleen spends her time travelling, cooking, and playing sports.
