Luciana is a lawyer with 7 years of experience in Brazil and is currently completing her Canadian qualification.

She worked in private practice as a litigation lawyer representing Brazilian financial institutions in claims relating to identity fraud, interest overcharge and credit/debit card charges before all levels of jurisdictions across the country. She has also helped her clients pursue debt collection litigation and enforcement of loan agreements. 

Luciana also worked as a legal counsel for a mining company in Brazil. While acting in this capacity, Luciana managed a complex litigation net arising from an iconic dam collapse case in the mining world and helped develop a nationwide mediation program to indemnify the victims of the accident.

She has obtained her common law education through the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and has completed her summer placement at Foglers in 2021.

During her free time, Luciana enjoys travelling, running, paddle boarding and playing with her two sons.
