Valentina recently completed her second year at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was a Division Leader with the Community & Legal Aid Services Program.

She has enjoyed participating in executive teams for student clubs including the Organization of Latin American Students and she was recently elected to be the 3L Class Representative on the Legal & Literary Society at Osgoode. In February 2021 Valentina and her mooting partner placed first at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, they will be competing at the International competition in June.

Prior to attending law school Valentina received a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University, majoring in Law & Business. Her interest in law allowed her to pursue various opportunities with the Ministry of the Attorney General, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada and two civil litigation practices in Toronto.

Community building and giving back is very important to Valentina. She has volunteered with the Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support, Hope House Hospice, Big Brothers Big Sisters of York Region and Law In Action within Schools. Valentina enjoys going on long walks with her dog Melo. She practices yoga regularly and enjoys trying new foods.
