Lori has a broad business law practice with an emphasis on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
She advises clients regularly on complex commercial contracts and general corporate matters. Lori acts for private entrepreneurs and emerging companies as well as multinational companies in domestic and cross-border transactions. She represents investors as well as investees in connection with both debt and equity arrangements. Lori advises clients on investment structures, private equity and venture capital financings, shareholder and partnership agreements and share and asset purchase transactions.
Lori represents Canadian and international clients in a broad range of industries including technology, entertainment, manufacturing, transportation, natural resources and consumer products. She is a member of the firm’s Marketing and Business Development Committee and women@foglers.
Lori speaks regularly to professional and industry groups about topics that relate to business law, such as the U.S. market for Canadian issuers, business structures, access to capital, shareholders agreements, deciphering the term sheet and questions to ask before becoming a company director.
