Harneet brings a global perspective and a strong technical foundation to her work, where she supports clients at the forefront of innovation. With a focus on intellectual property and technology law, she is driven by a passion for helping creators and companies navigate complex legal landscapes in rapidly evolving industries.

Harneet earned her J.D. from Dalhousie University along with a Certificate in International Business Law from Bader College in England. While on exchange at Lund University in Sweden, she explored emerging issues in AI regulation, digital policy, and big data governance in the EU. Her academic background in Honours Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in Legal Studies, from the University of Waterloo adds a unique dimension to her legal approach. This scientific training allows her to analyze complex, technical matters with precision and bring an interdisciplinary lens to client challenges in innovation-heavy sectors.

Harneet summered and articled with an IP boutique, contributing to both the intellectual property and litigation teams. She has also worked with the Nova Scotia Securities Commission and is deeply committed to using the law as a tool for both innovators and marginalized communities, having served as a Senior Student at the initio Law and Technology Clinic and as a Pro Bono Student for Rainbow Railroad.

Outside the office, Harneet enjoys boxing, hot yoga, and experimenting with new recipes—always approaching challenges with creativity and energy.
