Alex is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. He is developing a broad commercial litigation practice, with experience in contract, shareholder and partnership, construction, real property, insolvency, negligence, administrative and product liability disputes.
He regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and the Commercial List in Toronto. Alex also has experience in proceedings before the Federal Court of Canada, administrative tribunals and private arbitrators. Prior to joining Foglers, Alex articled with a prominent litigation firm in Toronto.
Alex believes in results-based litigation. He is a tenacious but pragmatic advocate, tailoring his approach to his clients’ individual needs and exhaustively drilling down on the key issues in their cases.
Alex graduated from the University of Toronto in 2015 and obtained his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018. While at Osgoode, Alex served as President of the Legal and Literary Society, Osgoode’s student government. He also competed as an oralist in the Price Media Law Moot, representing Osgoode at Cardozo Law School and Oxford University.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys warming up his courtroom vocal chords at live concerts, creating custom art pieces (commissions open), playing guitar, and being walked by his dog.
