Emily recently completed her second year at Western Law.

Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Commerce (major in Marketing Management) with Distinction from the University of Guelph. At Western Law, Emily volunteers as a Caseworker with the Western Intellectual Property and Innovation Legal Clinic, helping to address the IP needs of entrepreneurs in the London community. Last summer, Emily worked as a Research Assistant in the area of intellectual property rights where she helped to develop a free, online IP Curriculum for SMEs and entrepreneurs to learn more about IP rights and strategy. Emily is also involved with her law school community as a VP of the Gender and the Law Association, the Chair of the Merchandise Committee, an Orientation Week leader, and a Western Law Student Ambassador. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and at the lake, going to live music concerts, and watching hockey.
