James Marino

James recently completed his second year of law school at Western University.

Prior to law school, James studied at McMaster University where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in Political Science. Throughout law school, James has been deeply involved in the Western Law community, participating in the Contract Drafting competition as well as in various moots such as the First Year Advocacy Competition and Negotiation Competition. He is also an active member of the Business Law Association and the Italian Law Society. James has a well-rounded employment background. He worked in-house at one of Canada’s largest food retailers during his 1L summer and has extensive work experience in retail and customer service. Outside of law school and work, James enjoys staying active, travelling with friends, and indulging his passion for music on the guitar and piano. He is also fascinated by astronomy and space exploration and enjoys learning about the latest advancements in these fields.
