Kate recently graduated from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and has satisfied all the requirements to be called to the Ontario Bar Association in October 2024.
During law school, Kate focussed on Indigenous rights, issues and legal developments with a specialization in land rights. She was the Indigenization and Research assistant to her Indigenous law professor, sat on the Indigenous Legal Education Committee and completed a professional placement at a specialized Indigenous rights firm in Toronto. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Education from York University.
Kate’s professional background is in real estate and education, where she spent 20+ years honing negotiation skills and her approach to client-centric service. She is a positive and passionate advocate who tailors her style to match her clients’ goals. Each client is unique, and through a collaborative working relationship, Kate is able to create bespoke customized solutions for their individualized needs.
Kate is the proud mother of two fantastic sons, both who are passionate about lacrosse, education and baking. She enjoys downtime with her husband and Wheaten Terrier on long drives and time by the water.
