Kristie is an Associate in the firm’s Indigenous Practice Group and is developing a diverse aboriginal law practice serving Indigenous communities and their members.
Kristie completed her J.D. at the University of Ottawa with a specialization in Aboriginal Law and Indigenous Legal Traditions. Prior to attending law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa, where she majored in International Development and minored in Political Science.
At law school, Kristie was an editor for the Ottawa Law Review and served on the Senior Board. She also supported ongoing projects at uOttawa’s Human Rights Clinic and research efforts towards Amnesty International’s Indigenous rights campaigns.
In her spare time, Kristie enjoys cooking, watching documentaries, and learning new languages.
