Yael is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, with a focus on complex commercial and civil litigation.
A passionate and ambitious litigator, Yael is known for her strategic mindset, sharp analysis, and meticulous attention to detail. She thrives on tackling complex legal problems and delivering creative, durable solutions tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
In her commercial and civil litigation practice, Yael assists clients with a broad range of business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, as well as complex tort, professional negligence, product liability, and regulatory matters. She has advocated for her clients before all levels of Ontario courts, as well as various administrative and regulatory tribunals.
In her previous role at a leading boutique civil litigation firm, Yael gained considerable experience litigating matters involving professional liability, class actions, property claims, health law, construction litigation, insurance coverage matters, employment/wrongful dismissal, and human rights applications.
Yael is fluent in Russian.
