Albert is certified by the LSO as a Specialist in Environmental Law. He provides clients with legal and strategic assistance regarding environmental law, construction law and dispute resolution.
Formerly a prosecutor with Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment, he continues to conduct prosecutions for various governmental authorities and also defends clients charged with provincial offences under Ontario’s environmental and occupational health and safety laws and regulations. He assists clients with investigations, environmental and related aspects of transactions and various types of agreements, due diligence, securing necessary regulatory approvals, appeals of environmental orders and approvals, civil litigation involving environmental and related issues, contaminated lands and brownfields redevelopment. He appears before various administrative tribunals and all levels of court in Ontario.
