Eden is a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Litigation Group. As a litigator, her practice encompasses a broad range of litigation matters, including real estate, mortgage remedies and enforcement, property and land disputes. Eden is a passionate advocate for her clients, helping their businesses both navigate risk and seize opportunities with pragmatic advice.

Eden believes that mitigating, navigating or solving a client’s problem should, usually, start with a phone call. Whether it’s to counsel or a party, we can sometimes resolve plenty with a conversation.

During her many conversations, Eden has navigated a wide range of corporate/commercial litigation matters, including franchising, property and real estate disputes, mortgage enforcement and remedies employment issues, and trusts and estates matters and more. A skilled oral and written advocate, Eden recently co-authored a chapter in The Honorable Justice Archibald’s esteemed Annual Review of Civil Litigation, in which she explored the lack of judicial guidance on the admissibility of wrongfully obtained evidence in civil proceedings.

Eden has acted as counsel for businesses and individuals before all levels of Court in Ontario and, of course, in private arbitrations.

When not at her desk, Eden’s favourite place is her kitchen where she enjoys experimenting with healthy baking and regularly hosting family and friends. She is very involved in her community and believes community to be the key to happiness.
